This episode covers introductory language for ESL students and teachers on investing. The topic of money is too general and so I’ve broken it into two areas of focus that are closely related. The first was on ‘financing’ (episode 59) while this covers some words and expressions related to investing. This is a nice start but there is lots more to cover in a classroom lesson.
Vocabulary: Money talks, profit, revenue, income, liability, take out money, withdraw money, wage, salary, subsidy, scholarship, incentivize, lump-sum, earnings, earn a living, I’m rolling in it, make ends meet, commodities, worthless, valueless, priceless
